Gillian is a teacher and artist who has been teaching art classes for a number of years. She guides and nurtures her clients with a light hearted spirit and there is no pressure to paint a picture. Gillian simply encourages one to learn through experimentation and playing with colour, mainly through the medium of acrylic and water colour paints.
Katie Braida is a potter with over 20 years teaching experience and runs the pottery class on Thursday evening. Using a range of hand building techniques, Katie guides her clients through the process of creating something wonderful out of clay. This fantastic material allows for a wide variety of outcomes and the skills developed in class can be used to create both practical and decorative items. Katie also teaches a drawing class on Tuesday evening and introduces new materials and techniques each week, allowing her clients to develop their skills and confidence in creating their own works of art.
